I’m A Celebrity All Stars Returns: Ant & Dec Host New Drama in South Africa!
ITV is planning to reintroduce the beloved family show I’m A Celebrity… All Stars in South Africa, as TopMob has learned.
Sources have confirmed that Ant and Dec will return to host the series later this year.
ITV will soon begin their search for celebrity participants.
A trusted insider disclosed: ‘Given its success previously, they’ve decided to attempt another one, even though they can’t make it an annual event.’
For the second time, the exclusive version of the popular reality show will be shot in South Africa, mirroring the style of the “I’m A Celebrity… South Africa” special that aired from April 24 to May 12, 2023.

In the initial event, we had an impressive roster of past competitors, boasting big names like boxer Amir Khan, soap opera actress Helen Flanagan from Coronation Street, television host Carol Vorderman, and Olympic athlete Fatima Whitbread.
In a surprising turn of events, runner-up from season six, Myleene Klass, claimed victory over competitor Jordan Banjo from series 16, during the final challenge, earning her the title of winner.
In a new twist on the popular show “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”, this spin-off version is set within the Kruger National Park in South Africa. Instead of enjoying luxuries, celebrities participate in numerous challenges while roughing it out in a camp with no amenities.
In contrast to the original version, the all-star series differs by not giving viewers the option to choose which contestants participate in the Bushtucker Trials.
Rather than the usual naming of a Jungle Monarch, the contestants fight for the honorary title ‘Legend,’ breaking away from the conventional practice of crowning a Jungle Ruler or Queen.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can confidently share that the unique spin on “I’m A Celebrity… South Africa” captivated audiences, averaging approximately 5.5 million viewers each episode, making it a must-watch TV event!
That particular year saw an average viewership of approximately seven million people for the show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
The current camp layout was significantly rougher than previous ones, boasting a camp that was six times bigger than the one established in Australia.

This year’s series favorite, Coleen Rooney, revealed that she found it effortless to adapt to jungle living because of the simple job she held during her teenage years.
In the finale of this year’s show, the contestant aged 38 reached the ultimate round but ended up as the runner-up, with Danny Jones from McFly taking the first place.
Colleen mentioned: ‘Although I enjoy many comforts in life, I’m not a princess. My campmates seemed taken aback that I remained calm while living in less favorable conditions.’
When I was younger, instead of spending much time camping, I was responsible for cleaning apartments at a Pontins holiday park.
She mentioned, “I’m not phased by using an outdoor bathroom, as I’ve resorted to nature’s call in such circumstances before. I don’t shy away from getting my hands dirty; after all, I have four sons and we’ve experienced our fair share of messy situations.
‘I frequent ponds and muddy paths. Nothing about it bothers me, and with all my belongings, I could easily spend multiple weeks there.’
This version maintains the original meaning while using more conversational language and making it easier to read.
In essence, Colleen has been shouldering much of the household responsibilities to compensate for not being as involved in raising her boys. As she put it, “taking care of things and moving forward” is simply part of her daily routine.
‘If I don’t take care of it, there’s a chance it won’t get completed. I found it difficult to let others handle tasks that weren’t their own. At times, people would take longer than expected to finish their assignments. I really wanted to help with that task, but we faced consequences for doing so.’
This version aims to maintain the original message while improving readability and using more common, easy-to-understand phrasing.
