Lady Colin Campbell may be unable to walk for up to six months after a serious fall last month. The accident at a hotel resulted in a fractured pelvis and hip.
The 76-year-old celebrity, known from ‘I’m A Celeb,’ was taken to the hospital after falling at a movie screening held in the basement of the Soho Hotel in London.
She is still receiving treatment at King Edward VII’s Hospital and is taking morphine for severe pain.
Lady Campbell is planning to sue the hotel, saying the room was too dark and she didn’t notice a 15-inch step, which led to her injury.
She explained to The Sun that she’d become comfortable with the room – she’s naturally careful – but the room’s design makes it appear as if everything is on a single floor.
‘Where I fell was a radically different level. It was like falling into an abyss.

It wasn’t a small stumble like falling down a few steps. It was a much bigger drop, closer to a foot and a half.
The hotel prioritized aesthetics over guest safety. There was no lighting and no staff available to warn us about the sudden drop, and as a result, I’ve been seriously injured. The pain is terrible.
She added that she hopes to resolve the issue nicely but if not ‘it will be resolved either way’.
The Daily Mail has contacted the hotel for comment.
She had been a guest at a screening of filmmaker Amanda Eliasch’s new project at the hotel.
She was taken to St Thomas’ hospital in London after the incident before being transferred on.
She had an X-ray at the hospital and doctors then confirmed she had broken her pelvis.
Lady Campbell is remembered as one of the most dramatic contestants ever on ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ because she argued with nearly everyone in camp.

She’s usually very private, but recently she revealed more details about a past romance with Larry Lamb, who starred in Gavin & Stacey, when they were both younger.
She discussed her six-month relationship with the 77-year-old actor on the Best Magazine’s ‘I Suddenly Single’ podcast, recalling that she was around 28 or 29 years old at the time.
She revealed she had a passionate relationship with Larry Lamb, and spoke highly of him, describing him as a handsome and attractive man, both then and now.
The Jamaican socialite previously described her relationship with him, saying he was incredibly attractive and full of energy. She playfully called him a ‘naughty boy’ and emphasized his strong, passionate nature.
She spoke passionately about their relationship, and also pointed out that despite their different backgrounds, he possessed an inherent dignity and grace – a natural nobility.
She went on to say that both her cousin and brother believed her father would have liked Larry. She described him as a good, smart, and hardworking man. She then revealed that when she was around 27 or 28 years old, she had a passionate affair with Larry Lamb.
Larry was a truly charming man, and remains handsome even now. He always had excellent manners. The fact that he wasn’t from around here didn’t matter at all. I always thought of Larry as a natural gentleman.
In 2016, Lady C shared that she ended her relationship with Larry when she discovered he wanted to get married.
She revealed that she and Larry had a brief romance in 1978, when she was around 28 and he was 29 or 30. She believes he’s a year or two older than her and described him as very handsome, saying she couldn’t speak highly enough of him.
She explained how they first met, saying he spotted her across the room at the opening of the Ritz casino. She described an immediate connection, saying they made eye contact and he came straight over to her, and they haven’t been apart since.
Despite the attraction, the actress didn’t immediately sleep with him. She asked him to wait until she got back from her vacation in Jamaica before they became intimate.
She firmly denied going home with him that night, explaining that she prefers to make a man wait. She described Larry as a wonderful, intelligent, and focused man – a true gentleman.
Lady C was having a passionate romance, but she ended things quickly when she realized Larry was hoping to get married.
Oh, it was so sad! She basically said, and I totally understood, that when a man wants to settle down, he really wants to settle down. And she admitted, even though Larry was amazing, she just didn’t see a future for them together. It was like she knew, deep down, it wasn’t meant to be a forever thing, and honestly, I felt so bad for her seeing it so clearly!
Despite everything, they’ve stayed friends. The former ‘I’m a Celebrity…’ star even offered the actor some advice before he went on the show in 2016, but he didn’t respond to her email or text.
She described how she and someone became very close friends, explaining that he was eager to build that connection. They remained wonderful friends for many years.
Later in the show, the conversation became more serious when she began talking about her difficult relationship with her mother, Gloria.

She described her mother as a narcissist who became difficult to deal with once she started establishing her independence. It was a challenging experience to distance herself from her mother’s personality.
I was so relieved to hear that she finally found peace! She shared that therapy, which she started at 32, really helped her heal and move past the pain she’d been carrying.
Honestly, I’ve learned that when you start to recognize you’re holding onto a lot of hurt, therapy is the way to go. It’s about freeing yourself from that weight. I really believe you don’t want to become someone who constantly dwells on their problems and brings everyone else down with you.
Lady C shared that her therapist helped her understand her mother, whom she described as a powerful woman. She used to feel guilty about embracing that power, but her therapist encouraged her to connect with her inner strength, even using a strong word to describe it.
