I’m A Celeb star Coleen Rooney’s parents say her stint in the jungle ‘is taking a huge toll on her family’ as her youngest boys touch down in Australia for emotional reunion
As an ardent fan following Coleen Rooney’s journey in I’m A Celebrity, it’s heart-wrenching to see the impact her stint is having on her family, especially her young sons. The resilience of these boys, left behind without their mother, is truly commendable. Yet, a part of me can’t help but worry about the quiet subdued one, who’s been missing his mommy dearest.
In my own words, I’d say: As I follow along with Coleen Rooney on I’m A Celebrity, it appears that her time in the jungle has been causing some strain within our family, as her parents have shared recently.
Colette McLoughlin, the grandmother of the WAGs, who is 62 years old, shared that her grandchildren have been finding it difficult in her absence, with one of Coleen’s sons being particularly upset.
Colette confessed upon her arrival in Brisbane, Australia, accompanied by Coleen’s two youngest sons, Kit who is eight years old, and six-year-old Cass.
Colette shared with The Sun: “One of them has been very reserved and calm. Honestly, they’ve been exceptional. I believe their calm demeanor is due to the fact that they’ve had the opportunity to watch her on television.
‘If they hadn’t been able to see her, it would’ve been different. Not much longer now.’
Regardless of the tough goodbye, the stars’ parents express great enthusiasm about watching their child participate in the I’m A Celebrity jungle experience.

At the Rooney residence, Colette has been faithfully maintaining order and adhering to her daughter’s stringent guidelines.
She shared with the media outlet that she had been acting upon directives, which were sketched as diagrams similar to Wayne’s football strategies, found on a whiteboard.
She said: ‘Oh, the whiteboard. I followed the whiteboard, all right.’
And she added: ‘I’m glad to see the back of the whiteboard!’
Her mom, Colette, expressed that they’re extremely pleased with her. She’s performing exceptionally well, and everyone is eagerly anticipating seeing her.
61-year-old Colette, sporting a khaki-style twin set reminiscent of the jungle, responded with a smile when asked about her chances of winning the jungle crown by saying, “She has a possibility.
Her father Tony added: ‘She’s doing pretty well, we are all very proud of how she’s doing.
‘She’s doing alright and is coming across really well. You never know she might win.

‘We’ve got a long flight now to see her.’
Meanwhile, since Wayne Rooney (Coleen’s husband) remains at home due to his role as a manager for Plymouth Argyle, the boys made certain to bring along a memento of their dad during their outing.
Colleen’s youngest child, Cass, was toting a plush kangaroo and a miniature figurine of Wayne dressed in soccer gear while making his way to the airport check-in desk.
Instead of staying out, Colleen’s elder sons, Kai (age 15) and Klay (age 12), opted to remain at home with their dad, Wayne, who oversees a Championship football club known as Plymouth Argyle.
Instead of staying at home with their dad, Coleen’s elder boys, Kai (age 15) and Klay (age 12), opted to remain under the care of their father, Wayne, who manages the Championship football club, Plymouth Argyle.
According to the WAG, they opted against traveling to Australia because their two youngest children will be joining them instead. In an interview with The Mail on Sunday, they stated that all of their kids had the opportunity to go, but the older ones decided to remain home to keep up with their schoolwork and soccer activities.

It seemed like I mentioned that you should probably carry your work with you when you visit, and it turns out they won’t be able to attend some football matches. This led them to make a swift decision and change their plans.
It was understandable that not everyone could attend, given their reasons for staying home. They made prudent decisions, and I respect their choices. As soon as this event concludes, I’ll return promptly to join them again.
Essentially, I gave them the choice, they made a decision, and I support it wholeheartedly. It seems like not having the ball was a decisive factor for them.
