I’m A Celeb star Alan Halsall’s ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson breaks her silence after he spoke about their divorce and said he was now ‘more than content being single’
As a seasoned observer of celebrity lives, I must say that Alan’s journey is truly captivating. It’s fascinating to see how he has transformed himself over the years, both physically and emotionally. His dedication to his fitness regime, as evident from his Instagram posts with Colson Smith, is commendable.
After Alan Halsall, a former contestant on I’m A Celebrity, discussed their divorce on the show, his ex-wife, Lucy-Jo Hudson, has finally spoken up about the matter publicly.
In 2018, the actor ended his marriage with his ex-co-star from Coronation Street, who portrayed Katy Harris. They have a shared custody of their 11-year-old daughter named Sienna-Rae.
Following Alan, the actor known for portraying Tyrone Dobbs on ITV’s soap opera, expressing his satisfaction as a single person, Lucy-Jo posted a video message on Instagram for her followers.
She mentioned: ‘I simply wanted to clear up a misunderstanding. To begin with, it has been seven long years since my divorce. Frankly, I find the subject rather uninteresting as it’s quite mundane.’
‘Sienna is equally ours; we talk frequently and she’s always cheerful. Our relationship is wonderful. However, we need to figure out weekends – deciding on the days we each prefer.’
“We keep in regular contact as it’s crucial for Sienna and for making decisions about our activities. We strive to ensure she doesn’t miss out, so we adjust plans accordingly to suit one another.” (This version maintains the original meaning while using more conversational language.)
Permit me to share that my partner, Lewis Devine, and I will be settling in to watch the jungle together, rooting for our fellow contestant Sienna all the way. Wishing her an incredible experience and the very best of luck!
We plan to stand by Sienna as she navigates this journey, understanding that she will surely feel the absence of her father. Although he has been an integral part of her life, this situation feels peculiar for her.
On Tuesday, Alan shared with Dean McCullough the story of his separation. He explained that Lucy departed from Coronation Street around 2005, they got married in 2009, and subsequently separated following the birth of their daughter, Sienna.
I cherish what I have, and even though I’m currently alone, I truly enjoy our moments together, Sienna and me. Change is inevitable, and things will likely shift in the future, but for now, I’ve steered clear of dating apps.
In the wake of almost nine years married to Alan, I found myself parting ways, a decision that was made public not long after. Remarkably, within two short months, I had begun a new journey with Lewis Devine, and we have since become parents to our beautiful son, Carter, who is now three years old.
In a private turn of events, I chose not to disclose my romantic relationship until late in the year. It wasn’t until October that I decided to make it public, expressing my feelings for my partner on Instagram with a heartfelt post dedicated to him. We had the pleasure of working together on the stage production of Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs pantomime back in 2017.
2020 saw a noticeable reaction from Alan, apparently triggered by his ex-wife’s partner claiming Sienna-Rae, their shared child, as his own.
The actor seemed to have made a comment as a reaction to Lewis’ enthusiastic post about the birth of his and Lucy-Jo’s child.
In the midst of his joy about being a new father, Lewis couldn’t help but shower praise on Lucy-Jo and Alan’s daughter, Sienna. A part of what he said was: ‘I had no doubt that Sienna would make an amazing big sister, and it seems she’s already doing just that!’
In an Instagram post that has since been removed, it seems Alan may not have been pleased with Lewis using the term “our” and appeared to respond defensively towards Lewis’ new companion, as reported by The Sun.
He wrote: ‘You’re welcome to keep the lying cheating one & call her your own! But not my daughter.’
Alan revealed that he embarked on a healthier lifestyle with strict diet and gruelling workouts.
2019 saw this soap actor share with The Sun that he makes it to the gym at minimum three days a week. His workout routine includes running approximately 2.5 kilometers on the treadmill, bicycle, rowing machine, and cross trainer each time.
At the given moment, he shared with the outlet: ‘I’ve undergone some changes, and those around me have noticed it.’
I enjoy visiting the gym. Before my workout, I eat a pre-exercise meal, then I engage in exercise, followed by either a post-workout meal or a dip in the pool and a sauna session.
Frequently, he posts photos from his workout routines on Instagram with his fellow actor Colson Smith, who’s impressively shed an astounding 10 stone.
