Rapper Aitch, who is currently appearing on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’, was spotted getting ready for the holidays by buying alcohol in Manchester on Tuesday.
I saw the rapper – Harrison James Armstrong, though you probably know him by his stage name – popping into a local store the other day. He was even wearing a Santa hat! He picked up three bottles of Southern Comfort, which was a bit of a surprise, but hey, everyone has their preferences.
Dressed casually in a grey tracksuit and sneakers, he also bought a Christmas wreath, suggesting he was preparing for a lively holiday season.
Aitch, who recently came fourth in a competition won by his friend AngryGinge, wasn’t noticed by people as he loaded groceries into the trunk of his expensive £70,000 Porsche.
Shona McGarty, 34, who appeared on ‘I’m A Celebrity’ with him, recently discussed rumors about a possible romance between them, following some affectionate interactions they shared while filming the show.
The EastEnders actress discussed the speculation surrounding her on the Hits Radio Breakfast Show, sharing her thoughts on her experience in the jungle and clarifying whether she’d found romance.
She explained that rumors started circulating about her and Aitch being in a relationship after she publicly acknowledged their connection. She clarified that she considers him like a younger brother and values their close bond.
I just love being around him – he’s got so much energy, and it perfectly matches mine! We haven’t hit a karaoke night together yet, but I have a feeling it’s going to happen soon.
Okay, so after finally talking about how much I adored Aitch – seriously, watching him leave the jungle was heartbreaking! – I ended up placing third on the show a little while ago. It’s just… everything reminded me of him, and I couldn’t help but talk about it! I’m still reeling, honestly.
The soap opera actor reached the final three contestants, but was then voted off, leaving Tom Read Wilson and AngryGinge as the final two remaining.
As she spoke in her exit interview with Ant and Dec, she gushed about Aitch.
When asked about their good connection, she explained to the two presenters from Newcastle: ‘To be honest, when the rapper first arrived in the jungle, he put on a confident front, but I quickly realized he was actually quite nervous about being there.’
He was a really genuine and grounded person, and because we shared similar backgrounds, I felt very protective of him, like an older sister would.
The show began with the actress missing Aitch after he left their specially-made jungle camp.
The way she reacted to his elimination in the semi-finals suggested their relationship was more than just friendly; she seemed genuinely upset to see him leave.
Shona was heartbroken after unexpectedly leaving the jungle, telling the Bush Telegraph, “Saying goodbye to Aitch was so hard… I’ll see him again tomorrow.”
The comment quickly led to viewers wondering if the two people involved might become a couple after Shona exits the jungle.
Taking to X, one commented: ‘Shona was devastated!’
