On Monday’s episode of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’, AngryGinge and Ruby Wax faced the first Bushtucker Trial of the season, which involved eating unpleasant foods – a classic challenge on the show.
The two of them went to The Divey and sat down at a big table. They found out there would be ten courses of delicious food, each one good enough to earn a star and provide a meal for everyone at camp.
People watching said the pair were an unexpectedly great duo, reacting with laughter and discomfort throughout the challenge.
This episode featured Jack Osbourne sharing his feelings about his father Ozzy’s passing, Kelly Brook and Martin Kemp tackling the first Dingo Dollar Challenge, and Shona McGarty discussing her anxiety. Aitch was then chosen by the public to face Tuesday night’s trial.
Ginge went first in the eating challenge, facing a dish called ‘Cryer Jama’ – a mix of large cockroaches and mealworms. A ranger finished it off with a sprinkle of dried insects, mimicking a famous salt-sprinkling pose.
After eating five cockroaches and five mealworms to earn a star and a meal for camp, Ginge worried, ‘If this is the first challenge, we’re going to have a tough time…’
Ruby then tried a dish playfully named ‘Grimothy Chalomet,’ inspired by Timothée Chalamet. It featured a witchety grub with a cricket crouton on top, earning her 2 points.

The rest of the menu featured equally unusual dishes: ‘Margot Gobby,’ a bull’s tongue with a glaze made from fish eyes, and ‘The Slime-on Cowell,’ which consisted of six snails served with a sauce made from beach worms.
Adding to the chaos, a particularly unpleasant challenge called ‘Russell Toe’ – involving a smoky, suggestive display – caused Ginge to turn bright red and vomit, exclaiming to Ant & Dec, ‘It’s come back up in my mouth!’
He finished off with the worst of them all, ‘Benedict Bum-berbatch’ – crocodile’s anus.
He was visibly sick, struggling to keep down what many considered the most challenging Bushtucker meal ever on ‘I’m A Celeb’. Tears streamed down his face as he repeatedly tried to avoid throwing up.
Ruby was enjoying a rather unusual meal: ‘Ronan Teeting’ – a cow’s udder with duck tongue sauce, ‘Dame Spew-dy Dench’ – three unusual fruits with a fruit juice, and ‘Hugh Sackman’ – a large pig’s testicle served with a seaweed foam.
As Ruby struggled to get it down, she remarked, ‘I think I’m pregnant!’
Finally, Ruby completed the challenge of eating ‘The Knob Beckett’ – a bull’s penis decorated with a sparkler. After successfully finishing it, including the tip, Ruby earned a perfect score of 10 out of 10.
Okay, so Ruby and Ginge just came bounding back to camp, absolutely thrilled – though maybe a little green around the gills! – with incredible news. They’d absolutely smashed it in the challenge and earned a perfect score – 10 out of 10 stars! That meant a really lovely, well-deserved feast for everyone that night. As someone who knows a thing or two about keeping spirits high in tough situations, a good meal can make all the difference!
I’m absolutely loving Ruby Wax and Angry Ginge together! Seriously, who knew these two would be the most amazing, hilarious duo ever? Everyone on X seems to agree – they’re exactly what we didn’t know we needed on ‘I’m a Celebrity’! It’s just brilliant to watch them together.
‘Ruby and Ginge are quickly joining a list of great unlikely friendships.’,

‘The unlikely relationship we never expected, but are here for #ImACeleb #imacelebrity.’
It was the first morning in camp for the ten celebrities, and it seemed they had a visitor during the night.
Unbeknownst to him, a rat crawled across Eddie Kadi whilst he was sleeping.
Eddie woke in the morning in high spirits after a great night’s sleep on his comfy bed in camp.
Eddie was describing his peaceful sleep to Ruby and Kelly, but Kelly wasn’t sympathetic. She sarcastically replied, ‘Oh, you did, did you? You’re having a great time!’ Then, gesturing to her own bare bed, she complained that she didn’t even have a blanket.
Kelly confessed that living in the jungle was a big change from her comfortable life back home, saying, ‘It’s really different from what I’m used to.’
Brushing her teeth up near the dunny, a bug landed on Kelly’s hand.
She yelped and swatted at something, accidentally flinging her toothbrush over the edge and into the dense jungle below.
Lisa was off to the rescue as she headed down into the jungle bush to collect it for her.
Aitch was really impressed with Lisa, telling the Bush Telegraph, ‘Lisa totally saved the day! She went right down there, and honestly, I don’t think she was even supposed to be there. She was bending the rules, a real go-getter!’
Ruby led a meditation session by the creek, and Lisa, Shona, Jack, Kelly, and Alex joined in.
Kelly was fascinated and asked Ruby how she learned to meditate. Ruby explained that she studied neuroscience, mindfulness, and cognitive therapy at Oxford University about ten years ago, and jokingly admitted she hadn’t always been so knowledgeable.

Speaking of her fellow students at the time, she said: ‘They were snobby.’
She volunteered to make breakfast – rice and beans – for the group, but unfortunately burned it. Her campmates were surprised and barely said a word as they ate it.
During a group meeting, Shona McGarty became emotional and shared that she’s determined not to let her anxiety negatively impact her time in the jungle.
The others comforted her as she spoke and said that she can rely on any of them if things get hard.
So, later that day, my friends Kelly and Martin decided to tackle something called ‘Dingo Balls.’ It’s a really quirky game – think trivia, a bit of bingo, and…well, actual balls are involved! It’s a total test of knowledge and quick thinking, and they were really up for the challenge.
When Kelly and Martin entered the Bingo booth, they were asked questions like, ‘How many lines does a limerick have?’
Players needed to choose the correct ball and shoot it into the corresponding slot on the bingo board, matching both the number and color.
As more and more balls filled the booth, Kelly was almost completely covered, and her head began to disappear from view. After correctly answering all five questions, both Kelly and Martin left the booth, but Kelly stumbled and fell as she stepped out.
Meanwhile in camp, the celebrities got a phone call in order to win chocolate for camp.
People were asked to compare two numbers: how many films Kelly has appeared in, and how many top 40 hit singles Spandau Ballet had in the UK.
I was so thrilled when our team correctly guessed Spandau Ballet as the top answer! As a reward, the whole camp got to enjoy some delicious chocolate – it was a sweet victory, and we all celebrated!

Meanwhile the end of the episode saw Lisa speak to Jack after the recent passing of his dad, Ozzy.
Jack said it was a real shock, even though they’d known he was ill for some time. He explained they hadn’t expected things to progress so quickly.
He added: ‘It was the ultimate mic drop, he did a massive big gig and was like, alright I’m done.’
Jack became emotional, and Lisa comforted him. He shared that he believed Ozzy would have been very supportive of him doing the show.
Jack recently told the others that he’s still processing everything that happened, explaining it’s only been around three or four months and the experience is still very raw.
Ant and Dec went back to camp to reveal that Aitch had gotten the most votes from the public, meaning he’d be facing the next Bushtucker Trial – the Jungle Doomsday Vault.
Fans will have to tune in to Tuesday night’s episode to see how he gets on.
