Currently 88 years old, Robert Redford continues to live and work actively today, much like his contemporary Paul Newman. Both men started their acting journeys several decades back, with Redford eventually earning an Oscar for his directorial work on Ordinary People. Additionally, Redford is well-known for launching the Sundance Institute in 1981, which remains active and hosts the renowned independent film festival, the Sundance Film Festival.
