I’m getting so hyped for *Now You See Me 3*, or *Now You See Me: Now You Don’t* as a lot of us fans call it! With the release date getting closer, I’m dying to know what they have planned. I just heard Jesse Eisenberg talk about whether Lizzy Caplan’s character, Lula, might be back, and it’s a really intriguing hint that the original Four Horsemen could all be reuniting. It’s definitely got me even more excited!
What Jesse Eisenberg Said About Lizzy Caplan’s Possible Return In Now You See Me 3
Since the trailer for *Now You See Me 3* was released, fans have been wondering about the movie’s story and why some characters aren’t appearing. After noticing that Lizzy Caplan’s character from the last film wasn’t featured in any promotional materials, Entertainment Weekly asked Jesse Eisenberg if audiences will see Lula May in the new movie. Here’s what he said:
The unexpected cameos in the movie are a real highlight – they’re genuinely surprising and incredibly entertaining. They’re not at all predictable, and the way they’re revealed is clever and unique, making for a truly delightful shock.
Jesse Eisenberg is keeping details under wraps about whether his *Now You See Me 2* co-star will rejoin the core team for the new film. He suggests that any surprise cast members are being kept secret intentionally, to add to the audience’s enjoyment. Eisenberg also hinted at a shocking twist in the plot, explaining he needed to read the script multiple times to fully understand the ending. He had a great time filming in Budapest with the cast.
What Other ‘Surprise Appearances’ Could Eisenberg Be Teasing?
There haven’t been any reports about Lizzy Caplan joining the upcoming *Now You See Me 3*. However, when ScreenRant asked her about it in February, she simply said she didn’t know, which makes us wonder if she’s deliberately avoiding a direct answer.
According to Per Eisenberg, there are likely cast members who haven’t been publicly announced yet. Besides Josh Brolin’s character, there are other potential returning actors to consider. For example, Variety reported Mark Ruffalo would reprise his role as Dylan Rhodes, but he hasn’t appeared in any promotional materials so far.
Keep an eye on Michael Caine’s character, Arthur Tressler, who secretly played the villain in *Now You See Me 2*, though he’s unlikely to return since Caine has retired. Daniel Radcliffe’s Walter Mabry, the main villain in the second film and Arthur’s son, is another possibility. Plus, there’s always a chance a completely unexpected actor-someone not in the first two movies-could appear as a surprise villain in the third installment.
I’m really looking forward to *Now You See Me 3*! From what I’ve heard, it’s going to have all the crazy twists and turns we loved in the first two films. It’s coming out in theaters on November 14th, which feels like a long wait, but thankfully, I can rewatch the original *Now You See Me* and *Now You See Me 2* on Netflix to get hyped!
