Iggy Azalea recently resurfaced on Instagram, offering fans a seldom-seen peek into her daily life in California. This is the first time she’s posted anything since last October.

On Monday, the Australian rapper (age 34) shared a picture of herself baking a birthday cake for her son, who was turning five that day.

Born in Sydney, the well-known figure in the cryptocurrency world, who goes by the name Amethyst Kelly, is singlehandedly bringing up her son named Onyx.

In the Stories Iggy posted, there was no caption, but she flashed a grin as she mixed a batch of green icing, which was destined for Onyx’s chocolate birthday cake, with a camera capturing the moment.

2020 saw Onyx greeted by a star alongside American rapper Playboi Carti, but repeatedly, she has emphasized that she is solely responsible for his upbringing. In fact, as recently as January, she acknowledged that neither she nor her son have had contact with Carti for a period of six months.

In a stylish black sports bra and apron, the creator of Fancy appeared to be living the ideal family life while cooking a feast in her spacious kitchen. Two additional adults were spotted in the backdrop of the image, assisting with the party setup.

Iggy sold her five-bedroom mansion in California’s Hidden Hills for $8million in 2022. 

It’s likely she continues to reside in Florida, but she prefers to maintain privacy regarding her personal affairs.
