Okay, so I was scrolling through TikTok and saw this hilarious video of Idris Elba. Apparently, his wife made him do a little photoshoot with all the James Bond statues! The video shows the camera slowly moving across each 007 figure while the classic Bond theme song plays. It’s pretty funny, and of course, everyone’s immediately talking about whether he’d actually make a good Bond himself.
Idris Elba was spotted standing with Daniel Craig, who last played James Bond in the 2021 film No Time to Die. This brief encounter has led to speculation that Elba might be considered to play Bond in the next installment.

One person said Idris Elba would be a fantastic James Bond, while another playfully begged him to confirm or deny the rumors, saying, “Please don’t play with our feelings! Is it really happening?”
Idris Elba recently shared at the Red Sea International Film Festival that he plans to eventually step away from acting and focus on directing (according to the Daily Mail). He hopes his fans will understand his decision to pursue directing full-time.
The 53-year-old actor said he’s been working in the industry for many years and still enjoys acting. However, he finds that directing lets him explore a different creative side and experience being on set in a new way.
I’m really excited to hear Denis Villeneuve is taking on the next Bond film! Apparently, he’s hoping to find someone new and relatively unknown to play 007 – a ‘fresh face,’ as Deadline reported.
