Idris Elba and Kathryn Hahn’s unique new movie confirms Netflix release date

Idris Elba and Kathryn Hahn’s unique new Netflix movie Fixed has confirmed its release date.

On August 13th, here’s an upcoming canine-centric animated comedy that originates from Genndy Tartakovsky, the creative genius behind “Hotel Transylvania,” “Samurai Jack,” and “Dexter’s Laboratory.

However, unlike another heartwarming movie focused on adorable canines, this isn’t a family-friendly production; instead, it’s an adult-themed story that revolves around a loyal dog facing imminent castration.

The film follows Bull, a dog who learns that he’s due to be neutered in the morning.

He concludes that it’s time to round up his companions for an unforgettable final journey. Given the mature rating, this excursion promises to be quite thrilling.

Tartakovsky stated, “I prefer animation with over-the-top and humorous styles, and it was simply a case of adjusting the level of humor for my preferred sensibility.

Initially, it seemed like a mature version of “Lady and the Tramp,” but as we progressed, it transformed into a more playful and unique style. I’d describe its development as particularly significant when we managed to recruit some of the top 2D animators globally.

This movie is truly unique, offering an original blend of R-rated humor and comedy animation that’s on par with theatrical releases.

In the voice lineup, Adam DeVine from “Pitch Perfect” takes on the role of the main character Bull, Idris Elba, known for his work in “Luther,” lends his voice to Rocco, and Kathryn Hahn from “Agatha All Along” voices Honey.

Additionally featured are Fred Armisen, Beck Bennett, and Bobby Moynihan from Saturday Night Live, as well as River Gallo from the series Ponyboi.

Fixed will drop on Netflix on Wednesday, 13 August.
