On Saturday, Lucian Reedus, famously known as Mingus, flaunted his well-defined jawline while departing from Manhattan Criminal Court, a few hours following his arrest over accusations of assault against an undisclosed former girlfriend.
At the court hearing, a 25-year-old individual, known as the child of ’90s supermodel Helena Christensen, denied guilt for five minor offenses – third-degree assault, obstructing breathing, reckless physical injury, aggravated harassment, and second-degree harassment.
The judge chose not to require bail or supervision for Mingus and allowed him to leave freely, which is a notable move by the court. According to his lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, this was reportedly shared with TMZ on Sunday.
Mingus claims to be innocent, and he has denied any wrongdoing. As more details about the case come to light, it will become apparent that Mingus is indeed not guilty.

The situation unfolded due to an unidentified woman who, following the end of our five-month relationship, took sleeping pills in a desperate attempt to end her life.
The authorities claimed that Reedus reportedly struck his former partner on the leg to rouse her, followed by a chokehold and throwing her to the floor. They subsequently admitted her to Bellevue Hospital in a stable state.
The woman refused to pursue charges or request a restraining order, and both former partners informed the New York Post that the event was merely a case of misunderstanding.
The Daily Mail has not received a response to its request for comment from reps for Reedus.

In 2022, it seems that Reedus opted for a plea bargain to avoid imprisonment, the terms of which included attending only five counseling sessions and serving a year on probation.
