With so many free games available on Steam, it’s rare for a really popular, well-known title to be given away. But surprisingly, the highly-regarded theme park builder Planet Coaster is now available for free!
Digiphile is currently giving away free Steam keys for the game Planet Coaster. If you’d like even more content, you can also purchase a Premium Upgrade with 7 DLC packs for just $10. You’ll need to create an account on digiphile to claim the offer, but you won’t need to pay anything or subscribe. This deal is available until March 18th.
Planet Coaster Is Free To Keep Right Now
The Best RollerCoaster Tycoon Successor
The RollerCoaster Tycoon games are iconic in the tycoon genre, and many consider Planet Coaster to be its most faithful successor today. While Planet Coaster isn’t as over-the-top as games like Park Beyond, its incredibly detailed and refined simulation is unmatched. It also surpasses recent RollerCoaster Tycoon releases, which haven’t been well-received by players and critics.
Even though Planet Coaster came out ten years ago, it still costs $45 on Steam, making this digital bundle a great deal. Buying the $10 DLC pack is a better value than spending over $100 to get all the content on Steam, or paying $5 a month for access.
Digiphile Steam Bundles Are Shaping Up Nicely
Planet Coaster Is Just The Start
Digiphile is a relatively new bundle site, but it’s a trustworthy option similar to well-known platforms like Humble Bundle. It was founded by former Humble Bundle staff and has already offered some excellent game bundles. One standout was the Digiphile Immersive Sim collection earlier this year, which included popular titles like System Shock, Shadows of Doubt, and Fallen Aces.
Besides a deal on Planet Coaster, digiphile is currently highlighting the “boomer shooter” genre – fast-paced action games inspired by classics like DOOM. The Boomer Shooter Blueprint collection features well-known titles such as I Am Your Beast, Mullet Madjack, and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, while the Boomer Shooter Indie Spotlight bundle showcases lesser-known games like Killbug.
The Planet Coaster collection is the first digital offering available for free, which is great news! We hope this means more free promotions will follow, but only time will tell. For now, getting a free copy of Planet Coaster on Steam is an amazing deal.
