Nestled within the countryside near Bangalow, approximately 12 kilometers from vibrant Byron Bay, the initial estate house dates back to 1906 and stands on a sprawling 240-hectare dairy farm.
For four long years, brick by painstakingly crafted brick, I labored to erect my magnificent abode – a testament to my unyielding passion for grandeur. With ceilings soaring an impressive four meters high, this masterpiece is adorned with opulent chandeliers and intricately designed leadlight windows. The floors beneath my feet are a work of art themselves, crafted from exquisite parquetry. And what a view I have – a wraparound verandah that offers me a panorama of the world outside, day in and day out.
In each of the home’s four bedrooms, there’s an opulent private bathroom, while French doors and fireplaces made of wood create a charming, vintage European ambiance in the common living spaces.
Another major highlight is the stunning main dining room.
The chef’s kitchen, meanwhile, features stone bench tops and a walk-in pantry.
In addition, there are two separate ‘Queenslander’ cottages next to the main house, each boasting their own private areas for entertainment or relaxation. These spaces are specifically designed for individual enjoyment.
As a devoted enthusiast, I can’t help but share some notable features that caught my attention. Among them are a cozy fire pit, beautifully maintained formal gardens, and a soothing heated mineral swimming pool.
