On Wednesday evening, comedians Robert Webb and David Mitchell got together before the debut of their fresh Channel 4 program.
Stars gleaming, the television personalities found their place on the red carpet as the grand premiere of the fresh series, titled “Mitchell & Webb Are Not Helping,” unfolded before them.
They’re debuting a fresh new comedy sketch series after a 15-year hiatus, which Channel 4 unveiled earlier this year.
For the grand occasion at the BFI on the Southbank in London, Robert, aged 52, chose to don a navy shirt and dark denim jeans as he made his appearance for the event’s debut.
In simpler terms, David, aged 51, held on to the remaining warmth of summer by donning a white and blue striped shirt paired with beige trousers.
As they struck poses for photos, the team behind the creation of the upcoming series also became part of the scene with them.

The event will bring together the duo with renowned comedic writers and rising talents, fostering an ‘unconventional blend of comic creativity’.
The show boasts an impressive lineup featuring established comedy writers alongside emerging comedic talents like Kiell Smith-Bynoe known for his role in Ghost, Lara Ricote, recognized as a comedian, Stevie Martin from Taskmaster, and stand-up comic Krystal Evans.
The new show is created by That Mitchell & Webb Company, in collaboration with Big Talk Studios – the group responsible for successful comedies like Friday Night Dinner, Back, and Ludwig.
Robert and David are famously recognized for creating the successful comedy series The Peep Show, airing on the channel from September 2003 to December 2015.
The narrative primarily revolved around the lives of characters Mark Corrigan and Jeremy Usborne, portrayed by the comedic duo David and Robert, in their apartment located in London.
Mark, being the property owner, often points out Jeremy’s refusal to pay rent and his misuse of the house, which is largely due to his fondness for marijuana and unwillingness to find a job.
Earlier, when Channel 4 proposed a new sketch show to them, the men expressed surprise, confusion, and willingness to participate.
This could be rephrased as: “Given the challenging times in the industry, we’re optimistic that reviving the most complex genre of comedy might prove to be a smart, counter-intuitive move on our part.

And we’re certain that, unlike Roger Moore, perched precariously on the hood of a car dangling over a cliff in For Your Eyes Only, we are not going to push British television comedy towards its inevitable doom.
They went on saying: ‘We’re excited to collaborate with our exceptionally talented new team members, even though they are young. We kindly invite audiences to pay close attention during the commercial break and make an effort to purchase something.’
‘It doesn’t have to be a car but, you know, a box of chocolates or an app or something.’
