Iconic ’90s teen comedy confirms new musical version

As a gamer who grew up in the ’90s, I can hardly contain my excitement for “Clueless, The Musical” coming to the West End in 2025! It was one of those movies that defined my childhood, and I still remember quoting lines from it with friends. To think that Cher and her crew will now be singing their way through Beverly Hills is just too good to be true!

Clueless, The Musical is officially coming to the West End in 2025.

A fresh, humorous stage production inspired by the popular 1995 adolescent film starring Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd will make its debut in London’s West End in February. The show includes original tunes from acclaimed artist KT Tunstall, best known for her hit single ‘Suddenly I See’.

You can purchase tickets immediately through ATG Tickets for our upcoming musical, which is set to debut on February 15 and continue until June 14 at the Trafalgar Theatre.

The musical summary states that Cher Horowitz, a student at Beverly Hills High, is particularly well-known for her exceptional ability to help others find love.

She’s on the verge of starting her biggest endeavor yet: transforming her unusual new friend, Tai, and introducing her to the most good-looking boy at school. But what happens when, for the first time, everything isn’t flawless for Cher? This lively, stylish, and incredibly hip musical comedy promises a great deal of fun.

In the original movie that drew inspiration from Jane Austen’s “Emma”, Alicia Silverstone brilliantly portrayed the character of Cher, with Brittany Murphy taking on the role of Tai and Paul Rudd making an appearance as Cher’s ex-stepbrother.

The cast of the original movie also included a young Donald Faison (aka Dr Chris Turk from Scrubs) and Stacey Dash as Cher’s BFF Dionne Davenport.

The musical cast will be unveiled in due course.

Amy Heckerling, the original writer and director of “Clueless”, has composed the script for the upcoming musical version. This new rendition aims to evoke the same ’90s nostalgia while offering a fresh soundtrack.

She excitedly shared the news: “Clueless has been transformed into a musical complete with fresh tunes!” If you adored the film but wondered why there were no songs, then this development is tailor-made for you.

Even if these characters are new to you, don’t worry, they’re quite impressive! Looking forward to seeing you when we meet.

Tickets start from £25 and go up to £150, with special VIP packages available too.

Clueless, The Musical premieres at the Trafalgar Theatre in London’s West End on February 15.
