Iconic ’80s star looks shockingly youthful on his 60th birthday during rare outing… can you guess who it is?

Among the ’80s heartthrobs, one particular star left admirers amazed at his youthful appearance as he celebrated turning 60 years old on a Thursday.

In a seldom-seen event, the actor, most famously recognized for portraying Bill alongside Keanu Reeves’ Ted in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, was observed in a casual appearance in the city of Los Angeles.

A month following their reunion at the 78th Annual Tony Awards, where they delighted longtime fans as an iconic pair, he made another appearance.

With a cheerful demeanor, the birthday celebrant dashed to complete his chores at the neighborhood dry cleaner, dressed in a relaxed ensemble featuring a black polo T-shirt and cargo pants. Quite a contrast from his chilling portrayal as Marko in The Lost Boys alongside Kiefer Sutherland where he embodied a vampire character.

For those who have been following for a while, you might recall the London-based actor from his return to acting in the 2013 thriller Grand Piano, alongside Elijah Wood and John Cusack.

So… can you guess the star?

If you said Alex Winter, you nailed it!

Only recently, Alex and Keanu excited their fans immensely as they met up on the red carpet during the Tony Awards, which took place on June 8 at Radio City Music Hall.

In striking black tuxedos, these lifelong companions appeared strikingly different from their beloved characters in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, where they were known for their laid-back personas as time-traveling teenagers who interacted with historical figures for a school assignment.

The gathering erupted with excitement, not just because of the heartwarming reunion, but also due to the actors appearing remarkably young – almost as if no time had passed since their initial collaboration on-screen over forty years ago.

As they enthusiastically announced their participation in the 2025 Broadway premiere of Waiting for Godot, directed by Jamie Lloyd, their faces radiated excitement.

In this contemporary adaptation, it is Reeves, affectionately known as one of the kindest figures in Hollywood, who has been cast as Estragon. On the other hand, the part of Vladimir will be played by Winter.

Reeves and Winter expressed their immense joy about sharing the stage, collaborating with Jamie Lloyd, and performing one of their beloved plays, as they stated in unison.

In 1989, the movie Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, which initially took a $10 million investment, ended up grossing more than $40 million at the cinemas.

The achievement led to a 1991 follow-up titled Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, where they journeyed through heaven, hell, and various other realms. This film garnered a devoted fanbase that followed it closely.

Thirty years have passed since they last appeared, but in 2020, Bill & Ted made a comeback with “Bill & Ted Face the Music,” demonstrating that their unique bond remains as fresh and dynamic as ever.

Apart from his appearances in Bill & Ted, Winter is famously recognized for starring in cult favorites such as The Lost Boys, Freaked, and Death Wish 3.

Winter has made a name for himself outside of the Bill & Ted films with his roles in iconic cult movies like The Lost Boys, Freaked, and Death Wish 3.

Besides being recognized for his performances, he’s also earned a reputation as a director, with notable works like Downloaded, Deep Web, and Showbiz Kids under his belt at HBO.

In a rather private manner, Winter only has one child, and he generally avoids public scrutiny of his personal life; however, his supporters have always remained enthusiastic.
