As a captivated observer, I find myself among an intriguing array of individuals: a physician, a fugitive on the run, a smooth-talking swindler, a former Iraqi interrogator, a Korean duo, a plump victor of fortune’s favor, and a man who regained his mobility on this mystical island.

In order to survive, they need to collaborate. However, they soon find out while stranded on this island that peril and enigma lurk around each bend, and those believed to be reliable might betray them instead. It’s important to note that even the most honorable among them harbor hidden truths.

Originating from the minds of Jeffrey Lieber, J J Abrams, and Damon Lindelof, the captivating series Lost boasts a stellar ensemble, including Matthew Fox known for his role in World War Z, Emilie De Ravin who shines in Once Upon a Time, and Naveen Andrew, recognized from Bride and Prejudice.

In addition to Maggie Grace, who is known for her acting roles, Daniel Dae Kim from Hellboy, Evangeline Lilly of Marvel fame, Ian Somerhalder from The Vampire Diaries, and Dominic Monaghan, best recognized from Lord of the Rings, are all part of this series.

In its initial run, the show received widespread acclaim and garnered 10 Primetime Emmy Awards. Additionally, it was honored with the accolade for Best Television Series – Drama at the 2006 Golden Globe Awards.

This show is amazingly groundbreaking, setting a high standard for the excellent TV shows we watch now.

As a passionate gamer, I’d put it like this: “I recently dove back into the captivating world of ‘Lost’ – a series that feels like a rare gem unearthed only once in a lifetime. Re-watching it after years, I’m amazed to find it still as compelling and brilliant as ever. This masterpiece deserves a perfect score of 10/10.

Lost seasons 1-6 will be available to stream on ITVX on 22 May.
