At the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas over the weekend, Chelsea Handler made a sharp, humorous comment about sexual matters targeting Elon Musk.

50-year-old comedian had a chat with journalist Kara Swisher, where they delved into her opinions about Donald Trump’s tenure as president and his government, specifically mentioning Elon Musk, aged 53, who heads the Department of Government Efficiency, often referred to as DOGE.

Swisher shared with the crowd that she suggested Handler go out with Musk, as reported by The Daily Beast: “I encouraged her to step up and date Elon Musk and win him over.

Chelsea additionally voiced her annoyance over Musk’s presence in the Oval Office, saying something along the lines of, “Didn’t anyone elect Elon Musk as the president?

She posed a question, suggesting, “Isn’t it possible for us, Republicans and Democrats, to unite and express mutual disapproval? Can’t we find common ground by agreeing on this point at least?

It’s puzzling to me how we can’t come up with a method to meet up and share at least one objective that doesn’t involve us being perceived as working for Russia.

Previously, Handler didn’t shy away from using forceful language towards SpaceX’s founder, who she referred to as “offensive” way back in 2023.

Additionally, Handler mentioned that this time, she plans to keep her spirits high regardless of the Trump administration’s influence on them.

In reference to the initial term of President Trump, I found myself being swept away and losing my happiness. That won’t happen again, I assure you.

Handler also clarified that she is not inclined to settle down.

‘I like a variety of men. I like men in my life. I’m not a settle down kind of girl.’

Swisher then declared that Handler would be Vice President JD Vance’s ultimate nightmare.

Speaking as someone who values progress, I can’t help but find archaic the mindset of men desiring women to solely focus on homemaking and motherhood, while neglecting their careers. It’s like stepping back into a time machine, it’s so stagnant and dull.

It seems to me that our current political climate mirrors a deep-seated fear men have towards women, as if their actions are motivated by something other than themselves.

‘Our political circumstances appear to reflect a strong fear of women on the part of many men, which I find puzzling.’

Handler conveyed assurance that individuals like Vance won’t be able to subdue women, highlighting the fact that women today possess greater strength and independence than ever before, a trait that remains unaltered.

The comedian put on a completely white pantsuit to appear for a live recording interview at the Vox Media Podcast Stage, which is located within the Austin Convention Center.

On March 21, the comedy performance by this artist is scheduled to take place at The Chelsea, located within The Cosmopolitan, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
