The compelling drama, I Swear, recently became available on Netflix. It’s based on a true story and stars many well-known British actors from popular movies and TV shows.
Robert Aramayo stars as John Davidson, a Scottish activist who experienced Tourette’s syndrome during his childhood in the 1980s.

Shirley Henderson, known for playing John Davidson’s mother in I Swear, is a familiar face from several popular British film series. Many will recognize her as Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter movies, Jude in the Bridget Jones films, and Gail in Trainspotting.

Peter Mullan plays Tommy Trotter, the head of the community centre. He’s a celebrated actor, famous for winning an award at the Cannes Film Festival for his role in the 1998 movie My Name Is Joe. He’s also been in popular films like Trainspotting and Braveheart, and has appeared on television in shows such as Ozark, Top of the Lake, and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
