I Loved Seeing Boston Rob Support Dylan Efron At DWTS’ Premiere, But It’s How the Eras Tour Dancers Showed Up For Jan Ravnik That Truly Surprised Me

After a long anticipation, Season 34 of *Dancing With the Stars* has finally begun on ABC as part of the 2025 season. This season’s cast includes a diverse group of celebrities and familiar faces, and the premiere wasn’t just about those competing! Several stars came to cheer on the dancers, and while it was great to see Boston Rob supporting Dylan Efron, the real highlight was the Eras Tour dancers showing their support for Jan Ravnik.

How Boston Rob Showed Support For Dylan Efron

Rob Mariano, known as Boston Rob from *Survivor*, showed up to support Dylan Efron at the first episode of the new season. They both competed on Season 3 of *The Traitors*, though on opposing teams. Even though Mariano played the role of a Traitor and was eliminated, and Efron was a Faithful who ultimately won, they’ve become close friends.

So, on the night of the premiere, their fellow Traitors pal Chrishell Stause shared sweet photos of them to Instagram, and she made sure fans knew how to vote:

I’m really enjoying watching Boston Rob on *Dancing with the Stars*, and I’m a big fan of his friendship with Zac Efron – especially because they were rivals on *The Traitors*. Their connection was a highlight of that show, and it’s fun to see it continue on *Dancing with the Stars*. I’m hoping Mariano joins the show next so Zac can extend that same friendly energy to him.

How The Eras Tour Dancers Showed Support For Jan Ravnik

Efron wasn’t the only one with friends cheering him on at the premiere. Newcomer Jan Ravnik also had a big group there, including many of his fellow dancers and friends from Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour. They even made a really fun video with Ravnik and his dance partner, Jennifer Affleck, who’s known from *Secret Lives of Mormon Wives*. It was a highlight of the night!

Ravnik quickly became a crowd favorite on The Eras Tour, and it wasn’t just because of his appearance. He often stepped in to help Taylor Swift with issues like stage problems, and he impressively handled a near fall during a windy show. When he was officially announced as a professional dancer, fans were delighted, and it seems his fellow Eras Tour dancers were equally excited for him. It’s heartwarming to see how close everyone remains, even almost a year after the tour ended.

It’s too soon to say how well Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach, or Jan Ravnik and Jennifer Affleck, will do in the competition, but they’ll definitely have plenty of support from friends and family, both at the studio and from afar. You can watch them perform on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC, or stream it with a Disney+ subscription, to see if that support helps them stay in the competition.
