I Just Found Out Ariana Grande And Wicked: For Good’s Jon M. Chu Set Their Next Film, And There’s Frozen Talent Involved

It’s undeniable that the 2025 movie lineup is set to blow us away, particularly with the November release of “Wicked: For Good.” A significant part of this success can be attributed to the outstanding work of director Jon M. Chu and co-star Ariana Grande, both highly respected figures in the musical world. But what could potentially make their collaboration on another musical journey even more intriguing? How about a “Frozen” co-star, combined with the songwriters behind “La La Land”? Warner Bros is creating quite a buzz for Chu’s 2028 adaptation of “Oh, The Places You’ll Go,” further emphasizing its Dr. Seuss connection on social media.

Exciting News! Here’s a glimpse into the casting lineup for our upcoming production of “Oh, The Places You’ll Go“: alongside Josh Gad, who will be bringing his Olaf-like charm as a character, we also have the talented musical duo Benj Pasek & Justin Paul joining us. Check out the details below!

It seems like 2028 is quite far off, but given the recent sneak peek of The Cat in the Hat, Warner Bros.’ timing for generating buzz around its Seussian Cinematic Universe appears to be quite strategic. Interestingly, the Bill Hader-led trailer is being shown alongside the previews for Superman and Wicked: For Good’s first trailer, which could add an extra boost to this decision.

The book adaptation of “Oh, The Places You’ll Go” will reach its final cinematic stop on March 17, 2028. Two upcoming films to eagerly anticipate are “The Cat in the Hat“, opening on February 27 as a part of the 2026 film calendar, and certainly “Wicked: For Good ” with its release date fast approaching on November 21.

More to come…
