She mentioned that she was once extremely committed to fitness routines. Specifically, she would attend spinning classes regularly and later work with a personal trainer on weight training.
When the Covid-19 pandemic arrived, it put an end to my intense workout routines. At present, I own a stationary bike and I do 5 pound weightlifting exercises. The weights I use are quite light, yet they are beneficial for maintaining bone health.
In 1956, Eden made her debut as a sketch actor on The Johnny Carson Show. Subsequently, she secured minor roles in I Love Lucy and The Andy Griffith Show. Later on, she was chosen for the role of Jeannie.
The program took its origins from the success of Bewitched, featuring the charming actress Elizabeth Montgomery, who first graced our screens on a competing network back in 1964.
In simpler terms, during that time period, her costume was considered somewhat revealing as it showed her midriff. However, she wasn’t allowed to expose her navel on television. This rule about covering belly buttons was only lifted in 1983, when it was no longer enforced.
In 2011, Eden penned her memoir titled “Jeannie Out of the Bottle”, while in 2021, she released a charming children’s book called “Barbara and the Djinn”.
