‘I didn’t expect it to break me open’: Millie Mackintosh poses in a skimpy green bikini as she shares a glimpse inside her luxury wellness retreat in India

Millie Mackintosh showed off her amazing physique in a small green bikini while giving fans a peek at her luxurious wellness retreat in India on Friday.

The 36-year-old former reality star is currently vacationing at the Six Senses Vana resort. A five-night stay costs approximately £1,895 per person, and longer retreats – lasting 14 nights – range from £11,000 to £14,000, depending on the time of year and how many people are sharing a room.

This luxurious resort provides guests with custom wellness plans, meals, and daily spa treatments. Millie recently shared a glimpse of her relaxing experience with her followers on Instagram.

Millie shared a photo of herself in a bikini and revealed something unexpected about her recent retreat: it was more emotionally challenging than she anticipated. She initially came hoping for a fresh start, but discovered she deeply needed to reconnect with her feelings.

A new photo captured the celebrity peacefully floating in the water, continuing her water therapy session in the same green swimsuit.

She shared a photo with the caption: ‘These routines are really comforting. Things like warm oils, water treatments, and feeling both physically and emotionally supported.’

Millie also posted a photo of a Hyperice Normatec, a device that uses massage to help muscles recover and improve athletic performance.

The TV star looked happy and relaxed in a beautiful photo, wearing a white robe and silver eye patches while enjoying a cup of tea.

While at the retreat, she showed off her fit body in a black workout outfit, posing on a gym mat.

Millie shared that one of the biggest surprises during her Ayurvedic retreat has been reconnecting with her body. She’s been more active, paying attention to what it needs, and feeling much more grounded and in the moment than she has in ages.

I’ve been really focused on wellness lately, and wanted to share a peek into my routine. I’ve been trying acupuncture, which I’m loving, and making time for daily meditation. Of course, I also make sure to get outside and soak up some sunshine – a quick selfie is a nice way to capture those moments!

Millie shared with the photos: ‘I was hoping for a relaxing week at Six Senses Vana, but I was surprised by how much it helped me simplify everything – not just getting rest, but also resetting my system, and not just receiving treatments, but experiencing meaningful routines.’

Ayurveda isn’t about following the latest wellness fads. It’s a peaceful and calming practice that encourages self-reflection, without any need to strive or be social.

Amidst all the peace and quiet, I connected with some amazing people and heard their incredible life stories. This journey has been about so much more than just taking a break. What else are you interested in hearing about from my travels?

Millie recently shared that she used to drink to excess and described her struggles with addictive behaviors. She also talked about the point when she decided to stop drinking alcohol.

The former Made In Chelsea star stopped drinking in the summer of 2022 after realizing she had developed a very unhealthy reliance on alcohol.

Millie told Women’s Health UK that she had to give up alcohol completely, explaining she wasn’t able to stop at just one drink.

When asked if she considered herself an alcoholic, she responded that it really depended on how someone defined the term.

I didn’t drink daily, but when I did, I wanted to drink to excess – to keep going and going until I lost consciousness.

I know giving in to this desire is bad for my well-being, so it’s better for me to avoid it entirely rather than allow myself even a little bit.

Millie shared that she struggles with alcohol addiction and talked about how drinking problems exist on a spectrum – not everyone who drinks heavily is necessarily an alcoholic.

She admitted she’s prone to addiction, stating she believes she had a problem with alcohol.

There’s a group of people who aren’t necessarily alcoholics, but consistently drink more than they intend to.

The TV star shared the story of when she decided she needed to stop drinking for good.

Honestly, it was awful. I was so hungover, and it triggered this really intense panic attack. That was it for me, right then and there. I just knew, I absolutely knew, I could never drink again. It was a turning point, a horrible, scary turning point, but I’m so glad it happened.

‘And it’s now been three and a half years.’
