It’s interesting to remember that her rise to fame began with Paris Hilton, making their recent holiday reunion a bit of a surprise! Their festive greeting, “Slivmas,” is certainly memorable.

I’m not sure what the occasion was that got them together for some Instagram Stories posts, but they were dressed to impress — Paris Hilton in a red-sequined mini-dress and Kim Kardashian in an asymmetrical black number — as they struck a pose in front of several Christmas trees in celebration of the holidays. Hilton posted:

Paris Hilton shared a festive photo—also posted by Kim Kardashian—with the caption, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Slivmas.” This playful phrase combines her well-known term “sliving” (a blend of slaying and living) with “Christmas.” It’s a shame she couldn’t also fit in a pun about sleighs!

The longtime friends even showed a bit of emotion in a second photo posted by Kim Kardashian:

I’m not sure if the photos were taken in Kim Kardashian’s hallway decorated with Christmas trees or if Paris Hilton has a similar festive setup at her place, but it’s great to see these longtime friends celebrating the holidays together. It’s also funny to see Paris wearing a Santa-themed outfit so soon after Kim’s sister, Kourtney, received some criticism for her own Christmas costume.

Kim Kardashian owes some of her early fame to Paris Hilton. Kardashian first gained attention in the early 2000s while working as Hilton’s assistant and helping to organize her wardrobe. The two were often photographed together at clubs with other stars like Britney Spears – Paris has consistently supported Kim, and Kim recently showed her support in return – and those photos appeared in the tabloids.
