Legacies, the beloved Vampire Diaries spin-off, is leaving Prime Video in just three days.

In a review on IMDb, the series was praised as “the sequel we’ve all been waiting for.” It made its debut in 2018 and spanned four seasons, with all episodes now accessible for streaming.

Belonging to The Vampire Diaries universe and unfolding two years post-The Originals spin-off, Legacies finds its focus on Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell), daughter of Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin). She enrolls at the Salvatore School, a boarding school for exceptional young beings, which is managed by Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis).

In addition to the main actors, Kaylee Bryant and Jenny Boyd play the roles of Josie and Lizzie Saltzman – daughters of Alaric and Caroline Forbes (previously portrayed by Candice King). Now, I’m hooked, all in and eagerly anticipating each new episode!

While The Hollywood Reporter remarked, Legacies may not be strong enough for me to suggest watching it as a starting point for new viewers, but it moves quickly and maintains the overall atmosphere that fans of this storytelling world will recognize. Additionally, there’s a sense of comfort in knowing that it remains reliable.
