Hungover Cruz Beckham, 20, shows off his guitar skills as he prepares to battle girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, in the charts after she shared unreleased music

Cruz Beckham took to his guitar on Wednesday after a heavy night drinking. 

Okay, so I was totally scrolling and saw this amazing photo of him – he’s only twenty, can you believe it?! – just chilling in a Superman tee, looking all adorable and kinda wrecked, probably from the night before. But even hungover, he picked up his guitar and started playing, and honestly, his talent is just… unreal. I could watch him play forever. It was the most beautiful thing ever!

Cruz, a multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, piano, drums, and mandolin, shared a video on Instagram with the caption: ‘My hangover cure’.

Cruz was also back in the recording studio as he reshared a snap of a guitar pick on his stories. 

His girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 30, may be following in his footsteps as a musician. She recently released a new song and music video on Tuesday.

Jackie has often written songs for other singers, but she’s been holding onto some very personal tracks. She’s now thinking of releasing them herself on an upcoming EP.

Jackie released a new song along with a music video where she appears as a robot with a metallic look, and her vocals are heavily processed with autotune.

The song encourages listeners to ignore criticism, dismiss appearances, and not let negativity affect them.

I’m just sitting here, waiting for your call, losing sleep. I’d do anything for you, even something drastic, and I wouldn’t regret it.

I’m not planning on becoming a performer and I really don’t like being on stage, but I’ve written around 200 songs that I’ve kept stored online. We’re now trying to figure out how to share them with you all.

A while back, @Parked_Up and I created some simple, fun, futuristic music. We’ve been toying with the idea of releasing it as an EP under the name @futurepastromanticsociety – it’s just a casual project, nothing too serious. 🙂

These songs are incredibly special to me – too raw and personal to ever give to another artist, but honestly, they’re too good to keep to myself. I want everyone to crank them up in their cars and feel what I feel when I listen – it’s not just about sharing with friends, it’s about letting the music out there!

We’re experimenting with technology to see how we can use it for positive change, and we’ve taken visual inspiration from the movie S1MONE starring Al Pacino. If you haven’t seen it, we highly recommend it – it feels surprisingly relevant today!

I was so surprised to learn that Cruz actually recorded a whole album before anyone even heard ‘Optics’ or ‘Lick The Toad’! It’s amazing to think about all that music he had hidden away before sharing his first singles with the world.

Cruz posted a video on Instagram of himself performing at a show, with Jackie visible in the audience.

The songwriter teared up with pride while recording her boyfriend’s performance.

After the show, Cruz thanked the audience, saying it was a great night and promised more performances and music in the future.

He captioned the video: ‘That was a fun one,’ while Jackie commented: ‘*Sobs*’. 

Cruz Beckham and Jackie began dating in June 2024, and publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram in October.
