Hulu is officially bringing back one of its most underrated comedy gems for a spring premiere!
The popular crime comedy series will be back for a second season on May 28th. New episodes will be available on Hulu and Hulu as part of the Disney+ bundle for U.S. viewers, and on Disney+ everywhere else. The show, known for its blend of family issues and exciting criminal storylines, is promising an even more compelling season with both familiar and new actors.
I’m really excited for Season 2! They’ve added some fantastic guest stars like Andrew Rannells and Kumail Nanjiani, which is a huge win. Thankfully, we’ll also be seeing all our favorites return – Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, Poorna Jagannathan, and Fred Armisen will all be back. Plus, Lilly Singh and Robin Thede are joining the cast, and I’m thrilled Tan France is reprising his role as Zubair – he’s such a memorable character!
Mike Rannells will play Andrew Chadwater, a district attorney with political goals who’s hoping to become mayor. Kumail Nanjiani will be Danyal, a lawyer hired by Max Sugar (Armisen) to represent him. Poorna Jagannathan will play Aisha, the wife of Maalik Ali, who becomes fixated on Raj. And Nicole Thede joins the cast as Dr. Iverson, a couples therapist known for her unethical practices.
