Hulk Hogan dead at 71: WWE icon passes away in Florida as cause of death revealed

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has died aged 71.

Early Thursday morning, the legendary figure from WWE succumbed to death at his residence in Clearwater, Florida, according to reports by TMZ, following a medical emergency.

Operators stated was regarding a cardiac arrest.

Ambulances and police vehicles were stationed outside Hogan’s residence, as paramedics carefully lifted him onto a stretcher and transported him in an ambulance.

Outside Hogan’s house, there were police cars and EMTs standing by, preparing to assist the reality star who was being taken on a stretcher into an ambulance.

Recently, the unexpected passing occurred only a few weeks following his wife Sky’s denial of rumors suggesting he was critically ill, lying in a coma. Instead, she asserted that his heart had remained robust post a standard neck operation.

Last month, his spokesperson stated in a communique that he has been dealing with chronic back issues for quite some time, yet there’s no immediate cause for concern.

Hogan had previously opened up about undergoing ’25 surgeries in the past decade.’ 

Last year, during an episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast, Jake Paul mentioned that he underwent ten spinal surgeries. He also revealed that both his knees and hips have been replaced, as well as his shoulders – essentially all major joints.
