Hugh Sheridan reveals he’s had a falling out with former bestie Rebel Wilson and isn’t invited to her wedding to Ramona Agruma – after setting the couple up

Hugh Sheridan has opened up about his secret falling out with his best friend Rebel Wilson.

39-year-old performer openly shared during a Thursday appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O show that he is currently not in contact with Rebel, his former protegee, and her partner Ramona Agruma, whom he once introduced.

During the interview, host Kyle Sandilands asked Hugh whether he was travelling to Italy to attend Rebel and Ramona’s wedding.

The actor replied, “No, I haven’t been informed. I’ve actually sent a message, but I haven’t received a response yet.

‘Look, I don’t even really know them anymore.’

Kyle sounded surprised as he asked, ‘Have you made a mistake?’ To which Hugh replied, ‘I have no clue about what transpired.’

Hugh went on to say, “During our initial outing together, I presented each of them with small Tiffany & Co. necklaces, which they still proudly wear.

‘I just hope that everything goes well for Rebel. I do worry about it, though, because I went to court for her here and we were really great mates,’ he continued.

I not only made her acquainted with Ramona, but also other similar individuals. I merely wish for her to be surrounded by decent company.

Concerned, as I believe I was one of her few supporters in the past, I worry about her now due to the lack of communication. I simply want to ensure she is okay, although I suspect she is fine.

Additionally, Hugh shared that after presenting Rebel to his coworker, she too has stopped interacting with him.

Hugh was the one who first brought Rebel and Ramona together. He knew them both separately prior to this, and realized that they would make a good match.

He revealed he had ‘played Cupid’ for the Pitch Perfect star by setting her up with Ramona in 2021.

Hugh shared a collection of pictures featuring him alongside Rebel and Ramona, expressing delight at having brought together his “top two companions.

Additionally, the star confided to 2Day FM’s The Morning Crew (consisting of Hughesy, Ed, and Erin) that he had been making efforts to pair Rebel and Ramona with different individuals for quite some time.

‘I’m a bit of a matchmaker in my spare time. I’ve got a few marriages in there,’ Hugh explained.

‘Both were really hard to set up. Ramona is really smart, and Rebel is really smart.

In New York, I was with my former partner, feeling quite down. Rebel expressed that she couldn’t fathom my feelings since she’s never experienced love herself.

‘I thought, ‘Gosh, she’s a hard one to crack.’ So I thought of Ramona straight away.’

Additionally, Hugh disclosed back in April of the previous year that he had yet to meet Royce Lillian, Rebel’s daughter who was born through a surrogate.

Since the close of last year, things have been quite intense for me – we finished ‘Solitary Man’, wrapped up ‘Five Bedrooms’, and released ‘Back to the Rafters’. It’s been an incredibly busy yet deeply satisfying period in my life, as I shared with The Daily Telegraph.

‘I’ll be going back to LA after this Sydney run and will finally get to meet Royce.’

In the place where I was previously, everyone was out of town at that time. As a result, I haven’t had the chance to meet up with them just yet. However, I am eager to reconnect with all my friends from there soon.
