Hugh Jackman congratulates Canada after their shock Women's Rugby Sevens win over Australia in Paris - and a very familiar name scores the winning points

As a die-hard fan of all things Hugh Jackman, I’ve been following his incredible journey for years now, and this latest chapter has left me utterly awestruck! The man is not just an actor, he’s an inspiration, a superhero in real life!

On a Wednesday, Hugh Jackman used social media to send his warm congratulations to Canada’s Women’s rugby team for their unexpected victory against Australia in the Sevens competition held during the Paris Olympics.

As a long-time fan of action movies and particularly “The Wolverine”, I was quite intrigued when I came across a post by the actor himself, Hugh Jackman, on Instagram. The photo he shared depicted a young Canadian athlete named Piper Logan, who had just scored the winning points against Australia in some high-stakes match. Having followed Hugh’s career for years and admiring his dedication to fitness and sports, I found it inspiring to see him celebrating someone else’s athletic achievement. It reminded me of the countless hours he must have spent training as an actor, striving to embody the strength and resilience of Wolverine on screen. This shared passion for athletics and perseverance makes me appreciate both Hugh Jackman’s acting talents and Piper Logan’s impressive skills even more.

He labeled it with warm and amusing phrases: “Bravo, Canada! At least Logan got the decisive score.”

Jackman’s delightful message noted a connection between Logan, the surname of the actor he is, and the first name of his renowned Marvel character – Wolverine, whom he portrayed in the hit films Deadpool and Wolverine.

I, being an ardent follower, posted a thrilling shot on my timeline, featuring the intense clash between Australia and Canada. Accompanied by a playful commentary, I couldn’t help but add some witty remarks to the mix.

‘I know the gig is up. We really are friends, but can we start a new rivalry here?’ he said.

It comes after he broke down in tears as he celebrated his latest box office hit.

As a devoted follower, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of emotion in my vehicle upon discovering that my latest production, Deadpool & Wolverine, had soared to the top spot as the most-watched film globally.

In a Twitter-shared video on Monday, Hugh was seen perusing news on his phone. He initially chuckled, then exclaimed, “Wow, that’s amazing!” or “Gee whiz!” in an equivalent manner.

Emotional tears welled up and fell as the realization hit home, brushing them off with a gentle swipe before letting out a long, heavy sigh.

Apart from that, Hugh also announced on Instagram, stating, ‘The Wolverine and Deadpool film is currently number one globally! A big thank you to everyone!’

He posted a picture of his character Wolverine lounging on a couch, looking at a picture frame that said ‘World’s number one film.’)
