The Australian actor, aged 55 and hailing from Sydney, was overcome with emotion in his car upon discovering that “Deadpool & Wolverine,” his latest project, had reached the top spot on the global box office chart.

So when I stumbled upon my friend’s Instagram post, I was thrilled to see him sharing a creative image of his Wolverine character reclining on a couch, gazing at a framed picture that proudly displayed the words ‘Number One Movie in the World.’
On its debut weekend in Australia, Deadpool and Wolverine earned AU $10 million, setting a new record for the highest box office intake for an R-rated film. Globally, they raked in an impressive AU $668.45 million, surpassing industry predictions by a significant margin.
Recently, the star shared that his children, Oscar and Ava, have motivated him to take on the Marvel superhero roles of Deadpool and Wolverine once again.
I, being an unbridled fan of Hugh Jackman, was thrilled when he donned the claws as Wolverine in Logan back in 2017.
