A country singer from the US surprised her fans in Sydney on Thursday by revealing an embarrassing personal experience that happened while she was visiting the city.
While performing in Australia, Kacey Musgraves paused her concert to share a funny story about a playful experience she had with a sauna.
The 37-year-old singer shared a video online explaining she mistakenly went to a sauna known as a meeting place for gay men while looking for a relaxing spa in the city center.
‘It’s apparently the gay sauna destination of this country,’ she laughed on stage between songs.
Walking through the event, she realized it wasn’t her scene and didn’t feel like a good fit.
Kacey explained that inspectors used the term “cruise” and mentioned “wet rooms,” specifically noting 23 that were in working order, along with “plenty of cruising areas.”

Despite learning this, Kacey wasn’t discouraged and chose to remain, suggesting she might even return for another visit.
‘So I still stayed! I wanted to make some friends, I was nosy,’ she said.
I’m hoping to pick up some new knowledge while I’m there. They mentioned it’s a 24-hour course, so we’ll be returning after the performance.
This isn’t the first time Kacey has had an embarrassing moment online this year. Back in April, she shared a very suggestive post on social media that made some followers believe she accidentally published it publicly.
A popular country singer caused a stir on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, when she jokingly asked her followers if someone could actually die from intense attraction. She claimed she was asking the question for a friend.
Her post became incredibly popular online, receiving over 50,000 likes, 5,500 shares, 3,100 saves, and almost five million views in under a day.
The comments section was filled with fans who were confused by the wild post.

Kacey has been single for almost two years. Her last known relationship was with poet Cole Schafer, but they reportedly split up in November 2023.
Rumors about the couple began circulating in June 2021, not long after Kacey Musgraves and her then-husband, Ruston Kelly, revealed they were getting divorced.
Cole and Kacey dated for over two years, but according to a source at Page Six, they actually broke up at least a month before news of the split surfaced in November 2023.
