Huge TikTok star Angry Ginge ‘to join I’m A Celeb line-up following man of the match win’ at Soccer Aid

It appears that the well-known figure, Angry Ginge, might be part of this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, according to reports, as his name surfaces in the list of potential participants.

Known as Morgan Burtwistle on social media, this influential figure currently has over three million fans following them across TikTok and Instagram platforms.

This year, the well-known live-streamer and YouTube personality, aged 21, recognized for his intense, emotive gaming sessions, participated in ITV’s Soccer Aid event. During this occasion, he teamed up with a multitude of renowned personalities at Old Trafford’s stadium.

Following his exceptional show, many spectators advocated for him to compete at a professional level. In response, Tyson Fury commended him by saying, “You nailed it.

Legendary footballer Wayne Rooney characterized his game as “elegant skill,” while singer Tom Grennan expressed that it was “among the finest performances” he had ever witnessed.

It was only fair then, that he was crowned Man of the Match.

It’s believed they want to hire him for the Bushtucker Trial show, following its success with influencer GK Barry last year.

According to a source, ITV executives often prefer to include popular social media figures within their cast, having seen the positive impact of GK Barry’s popularity from last year.

‘Angry Ginge has bags of personality and was really friendly to everyone at Soccer Aid this year.

The Daily Mail has contacted ITV and Angry Ginge’s representatives for comment. 

It is said that other stars, such as Lisa Riley and popular character from EastEnders, Shona McGarty, may also join the jungle.

Lisa, aged 49, has portrayed Mandy Dingle on the iconic soap opera for three decades. She made a shocking comeback to the village six years ago.

It’s well-known that the actress from the soap opera openly admires this program. She might be joining the ranks of popular characters from Emmerdale like Danny Miller, Gemma Atkinson, and Adam Thomas by appearing on it.

It was recently announced that ITV intends to continue airing I’m A Celebrity for the next five years, reaching its 30th season by then.

Reports suggest that ITV is negotiating with Australian authorities to maintain rights for the jungle location they film at, up until the year 2030.

Known for collaborating with well-known personalities, Angry Ginge frequently posts about his notable experiences online. This ranges from teaming up with soccer stars such as Wayne Rooney, socializing with dart sensation Luke Littler, to having disagreements with the Argentine icon Carlos Tevez.

During Soccer Aid, with the game poised at 4-4 in the latter stages, Angry Ginge went in for a strong slide tackle on Carlos, who left a nasty cut on his leg during the collision.

After posting a picture of the wound on his leg, Angry Ginge expressed his displeasure on social media by saying, “Thanks Tevez, you idiot,” or simply, “You moron, Tevez.

However, he didn’t stop at that point. Later on, he boasted on Twitch about his program being endorsed by more Soccer Aid stars. Subsequently, he remodeled ‘Zombie’ by The Cranberries in a new version.

The popular football figure crooned: “Repeatedly, repeatedly, it’s Tevez, Tevez, Tevez-eze-eze, I’m stuck in your mind, stuck in your mind, it’s Tevez, Tevez, Tevez-eze-eze.”
