Suits spin-off Suits LA has been cancelled after just one season.

The television show, set in Los Angeles, features the return of Gabriel Macht, formerly known as Harvey Specter from Suits, and centers around the character Ted Black, a lawyer working in the entertainment industry, portrayed by Stephen Amell.

The network NBC announced it will no longer air a show that wasn’t doing well, as well as some other programs such as “Lopez vs Lopez,” “Night Court,” “The Irrational,” and “Found.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, these adjustments are made to free up broadcasting slots for NBA games, which will air again on the network towards the end of the year.

Back in 2023, when the world was still captivated by the phenomenal success of “Suits” on Netflix, I couldn’t help but wonder if there were more stories to be told within that universe. And lo and behold, my wish came true – a spin-off was commissioned!

Regardless of what factors contributed to the popularity of “Suits,” those elements failed to bring similar success to “Suits LA,” as it received unfavorable reviews from critics upon its premiere.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix chose to pass up the chance to buy the spin-off.
