Huanmie just won TFT Paris Open 2025, proving that legends never die.

I was so hyped watching the Teamfight Tactics Paris Open 2025! Ge “Huanmie” Wuxin absolutely crushed it from December 12th to 14th at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and walked away as the champion! He won not only the awesome Tactician’s Belt, but also a huge $100,000 prize! I can’t wait to hear what he has to say about his win and everything else!

Huanmie continued to prove why he’s considered one of the best players ever during the competition. He’d already made history by being the first to win the TFT World Championship for China and had also won several TFT Asian Cups.

During the TFT Paris Open 2025, Huanmie showcased a flexible playstyle, choosing both common and surprising team compositions. He skillfully adjusted his strategy based on what other players were doing and maximized his board’s potential, consistently giving himself an edge. This, along with his calm demeanor, helped him reach the finals and ultimately win the tournament.

Huanmie’s journey to the top

After the game, Huanmie discussed how he achieved success and when he realized he was going to win.

Safo put me under a lot of early pressure because he got Bilgewater on Stage 2. Luckily, I managed to avoid him for the whole stage. My strategy was to focus on getting Mel and Baron Nashor as my main upgrades, and when I got Ambessa 2 on Stage 5, I started to feel pretty good. Reaching Level 10 and getting Baron 2 right away confirmed that I was in a strong position to win.

He explained that today’s games felt very much like previous ones. Players in every game were focused on achieving the highest possible score, rather than aiming for a specific point total.

Huanmie also shared why proving himself to everyone made the victory feel even more meaningful.

I started strong and had some incredible highs, but when I was going through really tough times, many people stopped supporting me. Now, I feel like I’ve earned the chance to get back to that high point – I’ve shown what I’m capable of, he explained.

Huanmie ended with a simple message for TFT players: enjoy the game! He also shared how proud he was to represent his region.

He wished all Teamfight Tactics players would enjoy the game. He also stated that China has always been a strong region, and might even be the best.
