HoYoverse has initiated the process of selecting participants for the initial closed beta testing phase of the game Honkai: Nexus Anima, which they’ve named the “Nexus Bond Test.” This restricted test is only available on PC and iOS devices, with registration open until September 12, 2025.
Players will get an exclusive early access taste of HoYoverse’s creature-training RPG
Honkai: Nexus Anima made its debut earlier this year as a role-playing game featuring creature training and urban fantasy themes. In the game, players gather “Destined Spirits” which develop and acquire unique powers over time. Initial leaks from app stores hinted at the game’s core gameplay mechanism, influenced by autochess, but it turns out there’s much more to discover.

Honkai: Nexus Anima is a blend of creature gathering and strategic adventure, set in a world where the equilibrium between forces such as Light and Dark, or Life and Death, has been disrupted. Alongside you will be unique companions called Anima, each possessing distinct skills.
How to sign up for the Honkai: Nexus Anima Nexus Bond test
Nexus Anima, and it’s been confirmed by HoYoverse that all account data will be erased following this test. To join, participants should register via the official website or the HoYoLAB pre-registration interface.
Individuals who sign up and fill out the form stand a chance to be chosen as beta testers, getting an early look at the game prior to its official release. Those chosen will receive notifications about their selection through email. The version we’re referring to will support multiple languages and feature spoken content.
For those using iOS devices, the suggested specifications encompass the iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and any subsequent models (not including iPhone 13 and 13 mini). To ensure optimal performance, your device should be operating on iOS 14.0 or a later version, have at least 6GB of memory, and provide at least 10GB of storage capacity.
HoYoverse hasn’t disclosed specific details about Android compatibility as of yet. However, given that it’s a mobile game, there’s a possibility that Android users may be included in future testing phases. At present, no test dates have been announced, so all we can do is register and wait for an email from the developers with further instructions.
