The project’s title was revealed along with a new logo and a brief trailer, offering the first glimpse of what’s to come.
Petit Planet promises a cozy life sim among the stars
Okay, so this new game sounds amazing! It’s basically a life simulator, but for planets! You get to grow your own little world, meet these adorable alien creatures, and build relationships with them. Apparently, you can then connect your world to others, creating this whole galaxy of interconnected planets. And the best part? It’s full of really relaxing, cozy things to do!
Discover the charming world of Petit Planet! The ‘Cozy Cosmos’ trailer is here, and you can now sign up for the Petit Planet Coziness Test.

Players can engage in a variety of activities like farming, fishing, cooking, and mining, as well as decorating their outfits, homes, and the world around them using a special magical energy called Luca. The game features exploration through ‘Starsea Voyages’ and social spaces like the Galactic Bazaar, where you’ll encounter characters and other players.
Rumors began circulating in June 2023 that HoYoverse was working on a relaxing simulation game, similar to the popular Animal Crossing. Then, in March 2025, reports indicated that the company has a promising schedule of upcoming games.

So, before they finally settled on Petit Planet, I actually saw rumors and even trademark filings pointing to a name like Astaweave Haven last year! It’s pretty cool to see HoYoverse jumping into the farming and pet sim genre – it feels like a totally new direction for them.
Petit Planet “Coziness Test” sign-ups are now open
HoYoverse is letting players try out their new game, Petit Planet, with a limited “Coziness Test” beta. This initial test will be available on PC and iOS, and all progress will be reset afterward. Currently, there’s no information about a potential Android version.
The Coziness Test for iPhone requires at least 8 GB of free storage space and runs on iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro, and all newer iPhone models. It won’t work on the standard iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 mini. Your iPhone also needs to be running iOS 14.0 or a later version, and have at least 6 GB of RAM.
Players who want to join can sign up on the official website using their HoYoverse account and filling out a short survey. Those chosen to participate will receive an email, and their access will be limited to the first device they use to log in. The signup deadline hasn’t been announced yet.
