I find the “Disneyland type” theory the most interesting. Considering HoYoverse is creating such a large universe with games like Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero, it’s quite plausible they’d like to build a theme park where fans can experience these worlds firsthand.

It’s incredible how some fans envision rides, concerts, and costumes based on the characters they love. It’s like a never-ending, real-life HoYo festival – similar to Disneyland, where you can spend a day enjoying yourself.

Putting that aside, HoYoLand might also be a way for HoYoverse to expand its popular themed events worldwide. We’ve already seen this happen before – for instance, last year in Korea, HoYoLand was a large in-person event. It included things like mini-games, concerts, cosplay contests, and even cars decorated with designs featuring characters like Raiden Shogun, Klee, Nahida, and more.

It’s definitely possible this is just a game. The name HoYoLand suggests a social experience – perhaps a virtual theme park where players can connect, enjoy mini-games, and participate in online events together. Considering the extensive range of games HoYoverse has planned, this is a likely scenario.
