Howard Stern sparks feud with Kim Kardashian as he claps back at her claim he mocked Paris robbery

Howard Stern says he didn’t make fun of Kim Kardashian‘s 2016 robbery, despite her claims that he did.

On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian, 45, emotionally shared how Howard Stern initially doubted her account of the robbery, as her family recalled the difficult experience.

She recalled Howard Stern constantly making fun of the situation, claiming it was a fabrication and that he was disgusted by it. She remembered him being very stubborn and refusing to back down from his claims, as he discussed on the show.

However, Stern, age 71, now claims he didn’t mock her story and actually believed what she said.

Stern showed a clip from a 2016 discussion about the robbery, using it as proof of what they talked about then. He called their conversation a reasonable reflection of how people were talking about the robbery at that time.

He stated that, as far as he could tell, the discussion was a fair evaluation, despite some claims that it was fabricated, which he confirmed were accurate.

We didn’t believe her story was made up. We thought she’d experienced something truly awful – that someone had broken into her room, forced her into a bathtub, and threatened her with a gun. I remember saying how terrifying that must have been, and thinking about what she’d been told…

Quivers insisted what they said was not an ‘attack’ on Kardashian.  

‘Certainly there was no attack,’ she said. 

Stern admitted he’s made many regrettable statements throughout his career. He emphasized that there’s no need to fabricate anything, as plenty of examples of his past missteps are already available. He confirmed it’s all public knowledge.

In the 2016 clip they aired, Stern and Quivers are both discussing the horror Kardashian endured.

Stern checked what he had previously said and explained that it was completely inaccurate, then played the recording.

Stern stated that if the story proved to be false, those involved should face imprisonment. However, both he and Howard Stern co-host Robin Quivers expressed their belief in the woman’s account.

If this woman experienced a violent robbery involving guns, and was then restrained – whether that involved being tied up in a bathtub or something else – that’s incredibly awful.

‘That’s frightening,’ Quivers interjected. 

‘That is frightening. If it is a farce then really they should go to jail for that,’ Stern said. 

However both Quivers and Stern believed the robbery was not fake.  

‘Well, I don’t think it is,’ Quivers said. ‘I don’t either,’ Stern said. 

Robin explained that because there were no security cameras nearby, there’s no video recording of the incident.

‘The one time the Kardashians don’t have a camera, something interesting,’ he pointed out. 

‘Yeah, something really going on, something real,’ Robin said. 

The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Kardashian for comment.

The latest episode of the Hulu reality show focused entirely on Kim Kardashian’s trip back to Paris. She was there to testify against the men who robbed her at gunpoint and held her captive almost ten years ago, and she refers to them as the ‘grandpa robbers’.

Kardashian said her husband at the time, Kanye West, also didn’t believe her story.  

Kardashian claimed, ‘Even my ex-husband had said, “‘And you faked your robbery for a TV Show.”‘

Kardashian explained that the statement was made publicly, which she found deeply hurtful, saying it felt like a painful blow.

Oh my god, when she started talking, her voice just broke. I swear, tears were welling up in her eyes, and it completely shattered me. She was saying how awful it was to think someone close to you, someone who should know you, wouldn’t believe what you went through, how much it hurt you. It just… it really got to her, and honestly, it felt like she was saying, ‘You don’t even know the real me!’ It was so raw and real, I could barely breathe.

After finally getting to trial and hearing from those involved – their stories and any apologies – it felt like validation. It proved what I’d been saying all along was true.

‘I’m happy it’s over,’ a tearful Kim added.
