What time does the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony start?
The starting time for the ceremony is approximately between 6:30 and 7 pm British Summer Time (BST) on Friday, July 26, in Paris. This comes after the Olympic torch has arrived at the Eiffel Tower.
Before the big sports event returns on live television, viewers can look forward to early coverage filled with exciting commentary.
For those in the UK wanting to catch the opening ceremony, it will be broadcast on BBC One and available for streaming on BBC iPlayer.
The show will be hosted by Clare Balding, with coverage broadcast from the River Seine.
