How to watch Blur documentary To the End and Wembley live show
In the chatter of 2024, Oasis’ much-awaited reunion was a hot topic, with the Gallagher brothers reconciling to perform at major summer concerts in 2025. Interestingly, some of their Britpop peers had already reunited before them.
Pulp and Blur have both gotten back together after taking breaks. Initially, Pulp performed at a series of concerts and festivals during the early 2010s, followed by another reunion in 2022 to great acclaim. Similarly, Blur reunited first in 2009 for an emotional headlining performance at Glastonbury (and additional shows), then again last year.
For that second reunion (where they recorded a new album and performed two nights at Wembley Stadium), Blur chronicled the experience in a full-length movie called “To the End“, named after their chilling song with a lot of strings, also titled the same way.
The painting powerfully captures the enduring bond between the musicians, showcasing both the love and, at certain moments, the friction that comes with it.
At the conclusion of “To the End“, there is a sneak peek of those upcoming Wembley concerts. If you’d like to immerse yourself in the complete experience during the holiday season, you can catch that performance as well, since Blur: Live at Wembley Stadium will be broadcast on TV over the festive period.
Prepare yourself for a grand Britpop night on Sunday, the 29th of December. That’s when “To the End” and “Live at Wembley Stadium” will make their debut on Sky Arts and NOW.
The show titled “To the End” is set to premiere at 9pm, and starting at 11.10pm, you can catch “Blur: Live at Wembley Stadium“.
The latter is a Sky exclusive and was filmed during Blur’s two summer 2023 shows at the iconic sports stadium. You can expect classics including ‘There’s No Other Way’, ‘Parklife’, ‘Girls & Boys’, ‘Tender’, ‘Song 2’ and, of course, ‘To the End’.
You can enjoy viewing both “To the End” and “Live at Wembley Stadium ” for free, live, since Sky Arts is accessible through Freeview, meaning you have the option to watch them anytime you wish!
If you have something scheduled for 9 pm on December 29th, you’ll have to watch the program later through Sky or NOW on-demand services instead.
Sky Stream offers a hassle-free and affordable method to access Sky’s content. Unlike traditional methods, you won’t need a satellite dish; instead, it functions similar to any other streaming platform.
Shop Sky Stream packages
To enjoy the content, you will require a high-definition TV equipped with an HDMI port and a robust broadband internet connection that is ideally 25Mbps or faster, as suggested by Sky.
After adjusting its pricing plan, Sky Stream now offers its basic TV package, Sky Essential, starting at £15 monthly. This package includes Sky Arts, Sky Atlantic, numerous free-to-air channels, a standard Netflix subscription with ads, and a discovery+ basic membership, all under a 24-month contract.
Alternatively, you can pay £18 per month for 31-day rolling access instead.
The monthly cost for NOW’s Entertainment membership, which offers access to Sky Arts content on demand, is either £6.99 with the six-month saver subscription or £9.99 for a more flexible, ongoing plan that you can cancel at any time.
These plans come with advertisements, but you have the option to upgrade to a Boost or Ultra Boost add-on for an additional fee, which will help reduce the frequency of ads (however, it doesn’t guarantee a completely ad-free experience, as live channels and trailers promoting our own content are exempt).
Not only do Boost and Ultra Boost provide enhanced audio and video quality, but they also enable simultaneous streaming across multiple devices.
