How to watch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice now – is Beetlejuice 2 streaming?

As a gamer who grew up in the 90s and has seen his fair share of Tim Burton classics, I can hardly contain my excitement for the long-awaited Beetlejuice sequel! The original film was a staple in my VHS collection back in the day, and now, three decades later, I find myself eagerly anticipating the return of our favorite bio-exorcist demon.

The movie “Beetlejuice” has been dominating the box office after its opening weekend. When can we stream it online instead?

Tim Burton’s upcoming movie follows the story that unfolds thirty years later than the events of Beetlejuice (1988), with the Deetz family being compelled to go back to their residence in Winter River due to an untimely demise.

Tormented by past events during her teenage years, Lydia Deetz (played by Winona Ryder) is compelled to confront her inner struggles once more. This time, she crosses paths with the bio-exorcist demon Beetlejuice (portrayed by Michael Keaton), a reunion necessitated by the urgent need to rescue Lydia’s teenage daughter, Astrid (the character played by Jenna Ortega in Wednesday). They aim to prevent a heartbreaking destiny for young Astrid.

Here’s what we know about Beetlejuice 2‘s digital and streaming release.

Currently, you can only catch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice on the big screen, as it was just released in movie theaters on September 6.

Warner Bros movies usually take 45 days to land a digital release after their cinema release.

More recent films such as “Godzilla vs. Kong: The New Empire” adhere to the rule of releasing digitally about a month after their cinema debut, although there have been exceptions like “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” which was released digitally in just over three weeks likely due to its less-than-spectacular performance at the box office.

Given these instances, and considering the film has made a powerful start at cinemas, it might be released digitally on October 20th. The catchphrase would still be “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice“.

Is Beetlejuice Beetlejuice available to stream?

Beetlejuicee Beetlejuice is not yet available to stream.

The film, being distributed by Warner Bros, will exclusively stream in the U.S. on their platform Max.

Continuing with the past instances, the movie titled “Godzilla vs. Kong: The New Empire” premiered on Max streaming platform on July 4, approximately three and a half months following its initial cinema release. Similarly, the film “Furiosa” was made available on Max about three months after its release date (May 24), which fell on August 16.

This would mean that Beetlejuice Beetlejuice could be released on Max in early December.

As a devoted fan, I can’t contain my excitement that since Max hasn’t made its debut in the UK yet, the first streaming home for “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” in this region will be none other than Sky Cinema and NOW!

Regarding the release date, it’s somewhat uncertain due to past Warner Bros. productions such as “Barbie” and “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” taking approximately nine months to become available on Sky and NOW without additional charges for subscribers.

We might have to wait until May 2025 to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice on streaming in the UK.
