Previously known as the showrunner of “Doctor Who,” Steven Moffat wrote a story titled “Joy to the World.” In it, The Doctor collaborates with Joy to tackle a perplexing problem related to time and space.

The ensemble will feature Julia Watson from “Casualty,” along with Peter Benedict known for his role in “Dark,” portraying the wealthy pair Hilda and Basil. Previously seen on “Sherlock,” Jonathan Aris takes on the role of the Silurian character Melnak.

Additionally, the cast of ‘Joy to the World’ includes the characters Sylvia (played by Niamh Marie Smith), Edmund Hillary (portrayed by Phil Baxter), and Tenzing Norgay (interpreted by Samuel Sherpa-Moore).
