As a Mobile Legends player, I know the Advanced Server is basically a testing ground for the game. It’s where the developers put in all the new stuff – like new heroes, reworked ones, fresh skins, and changes to how the game plays – before they release it to everyone. So, there are two versions of the game: the regular server we all play on, and the Advanced Server where they let us try things out and give feedback before they go live.

Who is eligible to play in the MLBB Advanced server

The Advanced Server becomes available on Thursdays with each new update, allowing around 40,000 players to join across 50 to 100 different servers. Here’s who can access it:

  1. The account level is Lvl.15 or higher.
  2. Internet connection is stable (Ping less than 100).
  3. You must be from the Southeast Asia region.

Okay, so the Advanced Server is resetting this Thursday, usually around 1:30 PM IST for me. I’m planning to apply right after – you really need to do it quickly though, because only 40,000 of us get in each week! Don’t forget to check when it resets for your server and apply ASAP.

How to enter the Advanced Server in MLBB

Before you try out the Mobile Legends Advanced Server, it’s important to link your main account to either Facebook, Google Play, WhatsApp, or VK. Linking your account will prevent you from losing your game progress.

To enter the Advanced Server, please follow these instructions:

  1. Go to the Profile section and select Account Settings.
  2. Tap the Switch Server button at the bottom center of the screen to enter the Advanced server, provided you have already been approved.
  3. You will find the Character List, where you need to select your Advanced server account to switch.
  4. Please note that when switching to the Advanced Server, you will need to download all resources to try out all the new events and features.

Unable to access the Advanced Server

If you’re having trouble getting into the Advanced Server, it’s likely because it’s full. There are only a limited number of spots available, and they tend to fill up fast. It could also be due to a slow or unstable internet connection.

If you’re having connection problems, try switching to a different mobile network or using a fiber optic internet connection for a more reliable signal. Also, to increase your chances of getting into the Advanced Server, be online right when the server resets on Thursday.

If you’re still having trouble getting into the server, you’ll need an invitation from the game creators to join the Advanced Server. They send out invitations to active players, so make sure you play for at least 2 hours each day to increase your chances of receiving one.
