What is the Alpha vs Omega event?

Riot Games describes the Alpha vs. Omega event as a battle to decide the fate of two different worlds. Each week, new challenges will appear, and you’ll compete against players on the opposing side. The faction that earns the most points wins, and winning players will receive special in-game Player Cards. The top point earners at the end of the event will also be eligible for physical prizes.

Eligibility

The first thing you must do is verify your eligibility to participate in the event.

  1. Have a valid Riot Games account.
  2. You must be 13 or older to participate (15 in South Korea, 16 in EMEA and Japan). If you’re under 18, a parent or legal guardian must represent you during registration.
  3. You can’t be from Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Crimea, Luhansk, Sudan, Venezuela, Greece, Italy, Romania, Quebec, Myanmar, or of countries or region where VALORANT is published by a local publisher (e.g., China), other than Taiwan and Vietnam.
  4. You are not employed by or otherwise affiliated with Riot Games

If you want to know all the specifics about how the event works and who can participate, you should definitely head over to the Official Rules page. Seriously, everything you need to know is right there in the Alpha vs. Omega section of the game – it’s super easy to find!
