The Ranked system groups players into leagues of about 100 people. Within each league, everyone gets roughly the same number of attacks over time, ensuring fair play and equal defensive opportunities.

Here’s a clever tactic: in ranked battles, the opponent you attack often hasn’t had their defense updated for that round yet.

Once the game sees that most highly-ranked players have already been defended against, it begins matching attackers with lower-ranked players who haven’t been attacked yet in that round.

Here’s a smart strategy: wait until you’re near the bottom of your league (ranks 90-100) before attacking. You’ll likely face easier opponents then. While some of those bases might still be strong, they’ll generally be weaker than those higher up in the rankings.

Once you tap the “Attack” button, the game usually finds you an opponent from the lower half of the leaderboards. This makes it easier to get a complete three-star win and earn the most trophies.
