I’m so excited for Steam Replay 2025! It’s basically a personalized video Steam makes for you, showing all your gaming highlights from the year. This explains how to get yours and share it with friends, and also how to go back and watch your Replays from past years if you missed them!
Steam, a leading gaming platform, is bringing back Steam Replay! This feature lets you look back at your gaming activity from 2025. Here’s how to create your 2025 Replay and revisit your past ones.
Steam’s Replay feature collects data from January 1st to December 14th (GMT), focusing only on your actual gaming time and excluding periods when you’re offline or using other applications like Wallpaper Engine.
Steam Replay 2025
It’s easy to view your Steam Replay 2025! Just launch the Steam app or visit store.steampowered.com/replay. You can choose who sees your Replay page – you can make it Public, Private, or visible only to Your Friends.
When you click the “Share” button, a window appears with a summary of your replay. You can choose different formats for the summary, select a language, and find a direct link to share your replay with friends.
The replay begins with highlights that feature the following data:
- Games played
- New games
- Demos
- Achievements unlocked
- Comparison to last year
- Games
- Rare Achievements
- % playtime with keyboard + mouse and controller
- Top three most-played games
- % of play time
- Sessions played
The replay then shows you how your gaming activity stacks up against other Steam players. It compares the number of achievements you’ve earned, the games you’ve played, and your longest continuous play streak to the average Steam user’s stats.
Game data follows:
- % share of New, Recent, and Classic releases
- A spider graph with game genres
Next, we’ll take a detailed look at the games you play most often, providing information about each one.
- % of total playtime
- Sessions played
- Longest streak length
- Bar chart of % playtime monthly
- Achievements unlocked this year
Your game time is added up and shown at the end of each month, letting you track your total playtime. Here’s an example from my own game recordings, specifically from playing Marvel Rivals. I anticipate this number will increase next year, especially with the upcoming release of Deadpool.
The summary displays your total playtime, number of sessions, and the games you’ve played with your Controller. It also highlights your longest daily gaming streak and the games you enjoyed during that streak. Finally, you can browse all the games you’ve played this year, either as a timeline or in a grid format.
How to view past Steam Replays
At the bottom of the Steam Replay, you will have the option to feature it on your Steam Profile.
Scroll down to find buttons for your Steam Replays from 2022, 2023, and 2024. Just click the button for the year you’re interested in.
