Originally, the MPL badge was implemented to authenticate professional players’ accounts. Besides being visible on a player’s profile, this badge is also shown during match loading screens.

As a dedicated fan, I’ve noticed that unlike the MCL and MLBB Rising titles, which can be earned by anyone, this particular badge isn’t just handed out to everyone. Originally, it was used to identify the accounts of professional players, setting them apart from regular gamers. However, the purpose of this badge has evolved over time, and now it’s no longer solely reserved for MPL winners or professional players.

Currently, the badge is employed to motivate Mobile Legends: Bang Bang creators, often referred to as Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), during their gameplay and streaming sessions. The authorities of MLBB bestow these badges upon them, and they aren’t something you can simply ask for or acquire temporarily like borders or other in-game rewards. Instead, becoming a KOL or creator offers numerous advantages, such as the chance to earn this distinguished badge, along with diamonds and additional incentives.
