Okay, so after you finish Mission 08 and beat Rintaro, you can finally pick a Kanto starter Pokémon! You’ll need to stop by a Pokémon Center to heal up your team first, and then Mable will call and ask you to come to the lab to choose between Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. It’s so exciting!

How to catch all 3 Kanto starters

In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you can obtain all three original Kanto starters – Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle – after completing the main story. Once the credits finish, a new area called Zone 20 will become available, and these rare Pokémon, including the Kanto starters, will appear there.
